power commander
Jefferies had their demo bike put on a dyno with a remus revolution bolted to it, each time they re mapped it, after they turned it off, and then back on, it re set itself to it's originall settings, the only way you will be able to optimise the settings for an end can of any sort will be with the new power commander that is being developed for the GS, and it will be out some time this month
GSmonkey said:To be honest, I thought there was a degree of compensation. The lamda sensor detects %O2 in the exhaust and hence could detect a lean mixture. The purpose of it is to detect a rich mixture (which would contaminate cat) and compensate, so it would seem reasonable to assume it works t'other way????
The proper thing to do is to chip it up. Standard attachment on sportbikes is the power commander. This adjusts fueling from the injectors & maps can be downloaded via USB for any combination of filter & pipe.
I've checked out their website and it would appear that these will be available in '05. Definately on the shopping list for me![]()
