Remus Exhaust + Panniers

Hi
Just fitted Y-piece and can - two issues -
1 - The centre stand rubber stop sits "half on / half off" the bump stop on the can - anyone had a similar problem?
2 - are there any issues in regard to exhaust gases burning a hole through the OE pannier?

Hi Graig, I have a full Remus System system with a carbon end can. I have had the same issue regarding the center stand bump stop but it hasn't caused a problem in over 9000 miles. I have toured with the OEM panniers around 4000 miles without a problem. A freind has a problem with a full remus system regarding the gasses from the end can melting the reg. plate at the corner. (His end can is stainless and seems to point more directly at the reg. plate)
