When I've looked into this in the past it was a no due to the differences with the exhaust flap valve.

Correct. I put the earlier decat headers on my TC to get rid of the valve so then fitted a pre TC silencer to suit.

The valve is removable on the TC, it just needs an extension pipe to go from the Cat to the back box
