Started to notice a funny rattle from the exhuast on overrun last week, not always there though.

Had a good look this morning and there is a piece of some wire gauze which seems to be mostly detached, it is now hanging out the back of the exhaust about an inch or so.

Not sure that is the total problem though based on the noise. I probably wont get a chance to look at it until sunday so I thought I'd see if anyone can give me pointers on how to go about sorting the problem.

It's a Remus, no idea what model (no stickers etc when I bought it).

Can these be broken down and sorted pretty easily? A bit of a newb (1st Bike) but not comepletely dangerous with tools. Have managed Valve clearances etc with no issues but do need a fair bit of advice first.

Cheers all.

if the gauze that holds the baffle in is disintegrating you might be best off just buying a new end can. Couple of hundred quid.

Same happened to mine you can just drill out the rivits and repack it my attempt wasn't very successful though :(
