I have a Remus Revolution in carbon fibre for my 1150 Rockster, but ít has the same engine and exhaust as the 1150GS, and I can really recommend it!

And especially the carbon fibre version, it's both lighter and sounds a lot heavier than the alu/titanium!

Does anyone know if the little pipe that is inside the rear bend is removeable for higher sound?

a revolution, the baffle at the rear is designed to be removed easily. :thumb

Oh yes, that baffle comes out easily enough! Drilled it out pretty quick and the sound is great! Bit anti-social in the early hours :handbag but pull away gently and don't give it some until you're away from the neighbours and it should be fine!

... at least none of the 89 other residents in my block (mostly flats in Hong Kong!) haven;t torched the bike.

Yet :spitfire !

Go for it.
