fitted a remus revolution can and de cat down pipes to my 09 gs over the weekend have done a club run of about 190 miles whipped the plugs out today all seemed fine plugs a little on the dark side do you think this is normal ,when i removed the standard pipes they were quite white on the inside lean ,perhaps just a little to concerned about the fueling but it does sound great and pulls like a train

Blimey thats keen, checking the plugs and all, when I fitted the full system I did not even consider anything so detailed!! Ran it for a further 22k miles after fitting it with no problems so I would not worry about it....

when i fitted mine on my gsa 08 it ran like shite, flat as a fart till 5500, popin and bangin on overrun, sounds good but indicates poor fueling, running very lean, i also put the k&n on so that aint helped, pc3 on its way and full remap to try and sort it

This is interesting, firstly I fitted a leo V can with the baffle, and to be honest the bike ran worse, like Skids flat till 5500 but the pipe was 4kg lighter! I then removed baffle and it was a fair bit louder but ran a lot lot better and gave better mileage. Now fitted catless headers with no balance pipe, no baffle in the leo v, went well, picked up quicker, good economy, but way to loud and poppy bangy for me. So fitted baffle back in and it sounds just right, goes well enough, big rush at 5500rpm, but not sure on the economy yet.

have done another 600 miles , and the last time out was stuck within a cycle race on narrow lanes the gs was a little rough on low rpm's as the distance i had to cover was about 10 miles 1st and second gear but once on open roads all back to normal

Just had a PC and custom map done at dynobike in Malton, I am running a remus header and standard can, originally the bike was running a little lean over most of the rev range, fuelling is now a lot better and the power and torque is up a little bit everywhere, it seems smoother and to pull a little better, although it could just be me trying to justify the expense.
