Remus headers

Hi, has anyone got these fitted to a r200gs? If so what engine bars, if any, do you have fitted? Thanks in advance...

Bog standard puny Bmw bars, but no problems with Remus headers,

Hepco and Becker bars on mine. It's tight but they just clear the lambdas. Good bars (well they look strong) and cheap too from motobins IIRC.

Good thread idea, saves people asking if remus headers will fit with x engine bars

I fitted my Remus pipes last night & removed my SW Motech engine bars during the fitment.

I'm told SW Motech's don't fit with the Remus pipes fitted, NN's site even warns about this. I'll attempt to re-fit the bars later on today & post a photo of where they touch.



I suspect my SW Motechs will be for sale very soon.

An apology

I assumed after reading this.. SW Motech bars would not fit when Remus pipes are fitted!

That's the reason I stated this as fact on here.

I fitted my Remus pipes last night & removed my SW Motech bars with a view to selling them & replacing them with Hepco Becker's or BMW's own.

This morning I attempted to re-fit the SW's in order to take some photos of where they 'don't fit'.

I didn't have any problems refitting them!

OK the fit is very close but they do fit.
I'd be interested in the measurement of other engine bars between the pipes & the bars.

SW Motec is about 4mm.

EDIT:

Sussed it! There's 2 designs. The old design (mine) & a new design. Looks like the new design are not compatible with Remus.
