has anyone fitted a remus hexacone slip on exhaust to a gs1200 and how have you found it

I see no one's biting.....

I've got a Hexacone but it came with the bike so I have no real comparison but I love the look and sound of it. I would say the OE exhaust has a deeper tone but at higher revs the Hexa does let out a satisfying buzz. OE panniers also fit with no adjustment. Hope this helps a bit. :beerjug:

Remus Hexagone Fitted

Fitted one about 10 months ago along with K and N filter to my 08 GS (left cat on. Had it on Dyno and getting 103,6 BHP at back wheeel . Brilliant exhaust and sound love it. I am however getting new GS 2010 model and it won't fit this, which is a shame.

Awesome.........

I fitted a Hexacone plus Remus headers and believe it's transformed my bike; not just in terms of performance, but it looks and sounds great. It wasn't exactly cheap but past experience has shown that when the time comes to sell the bike, by refitting the original and selling the aftermarket on eBay, the overall cost isn't that high.
