Remus Powercone

Took off my original can and replaced it with a Remus Powercone, which i might add sounds really nice( take the baffles out). However realised now that the exhaust guard on the elbow of the down pipe from the can, does not fit on as there are no attatchment points

Anybody know if there is an after market replacement for said item??????????

Is it the exhaust guard from the original can that you want to fit to the powercone link pipe? FWIW, I have a powercone on my 1200GS (and remus headers too!!!) and after about 10k miles, some two up, I've never felt the need for the exhaust guard.... I know this doesn't help your question though....

If there are no attatchment points, it's tricky to see how an aftermarket guard might fit.

I might, I guess, be possible to hold the original guard on with suitably sized circlips?
