remus problem

I have just bought a second hand revolution, the problem is that after fitting the can I was just about to put the footrest hanger back on and realised that i had no fixings for it on the remus bracket. How can I get round this?

SO NOT TO START ANOTHER THREAD,
but,
ive had a remus fitted by Cannons, and a good job they did, but i start my bike and as it made condesation i noticed it was blowing some steam back through the joint of the rear can, does this matter?
it runs fine.

which joint?

y-piece to can: a leak here might cause more backfires (it will backfire anyway). take it off & silicone the joint & reassemble.

i had a slight leak on a joint actually on the can with mine. little dab of silicone sorted that too.

Perhaps we need a Remus FAQ...

Can you fit a baffle to a titanium Race silencer? It's just a bit TOO loud when leaving home at 6:00am.

Or should I leave later?
