As title. Just changing my Y peice for a REMUS, and slipped the crashbars back on but...

Left side is in easy contact with the downpipe, and I'got to move the bar in at least 1/2" yet.

Is this a known problem? Or did I pi55 on someones chips in an earlier life?

Might have to get rid of one or the other, which I'm loath to do.:blast

Suggestions/advice please, really please.
Phil.:(

I have Remus headers and the SW bars and they fit fine. There is about 1/8" clearence on the right hand side, bar to downpipe and just slightly more on the left. Having just had a look at the bike I am wondering if you have the right underbracket supplied. You cant put it on wrong as it only fits one way. I noticed that another member reported that there was no clearance for his head guards either. The only other thing I can think is that they have changed the spec slightly or theres a duff batch on the market.
Bolt centre to bolt centre for the bottom bracket should be 28cm measured on the top of the bracket

That's useful Bob, I'll measure the thing tomorrow. I've a feeling you are right.
What I did in the end is move the left bars out a little by a new spacer here and there, longer bolts etc.
Finally I made a new bracket for the underneath (the one you described), and it needed about 15mm more on the left side to give me the matching clearance both sides (8-10mm).
It doesn't look odd, as the block is "odd" anyway from the cylinder offset. :thumb2
Feckin Germans. :blast
