hi all,

I'm looking to put a few emergency repair kits together with the idea that if I get a breakdown away from home I can get a box sent from home to me so I can get on my way,the box will include the parts, tools & oil ext....

my first purchase was the big bearing /seal /o-ring for the rear wheel , can anyone suggest what tools I will need to replace the bearing at a camp site with tools not in the standard 1150gs toolkit.

I was also thinking of getting a hall sensor electrical type 'box' on standby , anything else I should get that will need replacing to get me on my way ?
as usual any ideas welcome

cheers dudes !

Decent 7mm allen key
Strong tyre levers or similar to prise the bearing off.
Use your stove to heat the bearing before fitting.

Similar to the 7mm allen key, if you're going to take a spare hall sensor check the size of the nut holding the crankshaft pulley on (can't remember off the top of my head) - it's not a size found in most socket sets.
