The ABS units (non servo) IIRC are the same (or very similar) to the ones fitted to some Ford Fiestas and other models and they suffer exactly the same problems.

Would make sense if they were the same units but very similar does not mean the same so they cannot be compared really? But I take the point that they could suffer the same problems... how much is a new ABS unit for 2005 Ford Fiesta ?

They have the same motor/pump assembly but may not have the same porting which is why i said "similar".

There is plenty of stuff on tinterweb about them. The same pump failure;

"The Ford Fiesta ABS pump and ECU fitted from 2002 to 2008 is very common for failing. The ABS warning light will come on and fault codes may be logged, including C1095 - pump motor circuit / ABS pump failure".

The ABS pump on my Renault looked identical to the GSA ABS pump (non servo type).

Hi mark, what have you done with your ABS pump, more to the fact do you still have your old one and is it for sale,
mine has fried the circuit board and has already had the ABSectomy
