Repairer needed in Halifax area - recomendations?

Its a long story - but could anybody recomend or know of a good bike mechanic in the Halifax area that could do a job on an F650?

A bike I sold has died in Yorkshire and I am trying to help this girl out.

I sold a funduro to a girl from Glasgow - on the way back the regulator failed and boiled the battery, cooked the alternator. The RAC took her to a dealer who want the earth to repair.

I'm not obliged under law to help her at all - however, as this happened to me once, I'm trying to help.

Bike needs new reg, battery, and alternator fitting.

The RAC took it to Halifax Motorcycles - they want to charge her a fortune. Looked at part prices on Motorworks and needs a used alternator.
