Anyone know where I can go (in the Dublin area, preferably south side) to get the zip that joins the jacket to the trousers for. I don't really want to bring it to any one that can use a needle and thread, the gear is expensive enough without someone screwing it up by botching the zip??

Colin

If there is a problem with it, it might be covered under bmw warranty. i had a problem with stitching on the sleeves on my SG jacket and i got a new jacket out of it.

Nah, its out of warranty. I was given the number for a guy in Bray but I've yet to succeed in getting in touch with him. Luke, if I make any progress I'll let you know. Theres a grand draft going up my back so i'll be seaching hard.

CDORR any progress on this ? I will try a place off grafton st today that does all the garda zips etc etc in leathers so they may be able to help.

thanks Luke, I just heard that there is a place on either South Anne street or Duke street that does this kinda stuff so I was going to head into them this weekend to see what they can do. Its a second floor shop but I don't know the name. If I find it I'll let you know.
