Ah Jay me ould star, many thanks for ur help today. You were spot on in you diagnosis. The little screw under the brake lever did the trick:rob It was locked to begin with but with a little coaxing and gently encouragement it turned once and that was enough to do the job. Clutch lever became free. Practically all assembled now. Having done the job with Terry I can definetley say its a cushy job "for fuk sake":forry I'm thinking of making a business of it!!! what do ya think? You were a great help and many many thanks:hug I'll remember the pint i owe ya:beer:
Patk.

Hmm Gibbs Type Slap for Og INCOMING!

Patrick You are more than welcome

It's sort of a Sherlock Holmes thing eliminate what can't happen and in the end it's something simple

I had this last year a bike had been in a dealers for service and when it came out he had a slipping clutch under load only 6500 ish miles

He brought it from Dromore in a van left it with me for a looksee and I took it a run and sure enough after 20 miles it would slip on a big hill in top gear at low speed

I felt any free play had gone from the clutch lever and fiddled with the lever adjustment for 5 mins until I was satisfied it was where it should be. I had to do another 60 miles up the coast and up and down hills etc etc to be absolutely sure that it was cured :green gri

He got his bike back in one bit and I got a case of beer cos I wouldn't take anything off him :aidan

Good Luck on Your New Career! :green gri
