IMG_3714.jpegHello!

Goodbye old trusty (but heavy and less powered) tank / 1150GSA

In comes the lighter, more torquey and a bit more ponies 1200GSA. Albeit with a reliability rating that is… let’s be brutally honest - not quite 1150 level

But you can’t have everything and I can confirm that I’m very pleased with the change. The 1150 ownership was a “bucket list” item now ticked. The 1200GSA is bought as an all year work horse for commuting and fun Euro / Wales trips.

Looking forward to it all and first impressions are good, but the bike does have;

- Akra can
- Dyno setup so the motor is tuned to the Akra. Hence smooth acceleration at all RPM-gear mixes. Deliciously torque rich
- full rebuild from the ground up, including “bumblebee coloured frame. Already this colour when I bought it should be noted
- someone vomited touratech goodies all over it, spazzing away their money like it’s toilet paper. Touratech comfort seat, Touratech GPS holder, touratech reservoir protectors etc etc etc it’s everywhere
- it looks brand spanking new, I love it

I do genuinely believe that I have finally found my perfect do it all bike including deep winter commuting mixed with long weekend Euro trips mixed with fun ride outs mixed with everything else. It is the first time I left work at lunchtime… just to go and ensure no one tried to steal from the secure car park my 10 year old grandad bike (Ducatis in there, MVs, S1000XRs but in my head they would want my luvly jubbly old GSA)

Stunning looking bike
Never rode one but they look impressive

You wouldn't lose that at a bike meet would you.
Enjoy.
