You've seen where I park mine at work.
I have sintered pads and a cast iron disk. I've had the pads rust onto the disk several times just while being parked at work. Takes a hefty shove to free it off again. It also warps when it gets really hot.

I wont be buying another one in the future
 
I bought a Kyoto disk from Wemoto for around 60 quid.

Matched with new Vesrah pads it works better than EBC hh 100 pads did with the OEM disk, and it ended up a quarter the cost of the EBC combo.

Mine has been perfect, for years, although it looks crappy after the rain.The rust wears off after a few miles though
