Replacement for Google Maps app on iPad

Okay, so I have been vehemently hanging onto iOS 5 because I've wanted to keep Google Maps. The main reason is it is good and as a surveyor I use the Streetview function a lot. I've watched the Google app which they say is for iPad but the definition is poor.

I've got to a point where I've got to upgrade to iOS 6. The lack of it is beginning to affect other apps. So I'm going to have to fork out the princely sum of £1.49 and buy an app with Streetview. However, the common complaint seems to be how old the maps/streetview is?

Anybody got any dead cert recommendations of an iPad app with good Streetview?

Street view is street view, it comes live from the Google server. There wont and cant be an app that has a newer version unless it uses a none Google service and I dont think there is anything else out there that has anything remotely like street view.
