Morning all

Just bought my first GS, and I really enjoy it ! Anyway , this one has got 86000 Miles but has been looked after .
Its a 2005 and i wanted to change the grips has they are worn out.
But I need some help as i saw this on Ebay.

I am not sure if it will work with mine?
Has any body bought them for a 2005 GS ?

Alternatively,has anybody fitted these ones:

Do they reduce the heating coming through ?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome.

Do a search on grip puppies - basically oversized foam grips that fit over the existing worn out ones.

Take about 5 mins to fit and will sort your problem with minimal effort.

Good luck:thumb

I have fitted grip puppies on both GSA and K1200S, they are great and actually make the heated grip hot setting a bit more bearable !

+1 for the grip puppies, chunky feel, slightly less vibration, heated grips work fine.

there's a video on YouTube of a guy fitting them with a air hose, I did the same and they went on easy.
