Hi

I have a BMW Streetguard suit that I’m generally very happy with except for the fitted (yellow) armour which I find too hard and intrusive, especially on the elbows.

Has anyone found and fitted soft armour, such as D30, to the suit please?

I visited Motolegends today and they state that D30 and Ghost are not big enough to replace the standard stuff.

Cheers 👍

I have D30 in my streetguard elbows, hips and knees and happy with bmw in the rest

Cheers Garry, does the D30 fill the pockets or are there large areas spare? The D30 from Motolegends was nowhere near the size of the pocket.

Maybe look at the D30 armour sold for Rukka jackets. It is much bigger than the standard D30 size.

The knee pockets, as you know, are adjustable in three position and while smaller still fit nicely where I’d want them in a spill. The elbows fit me perfectly. I suppose you might try to borrow some to try. Watch the dodgy stuff sold on fleabag.

Put your hand into the knee pocket and if there is different velcro levels then yes.

Check out Forcefield and Knox websites, they both list armour and their sizes, I have Forcefield elbow and shoulder armour in my Rallye jacket
