Replacement VARIO Top box Lid

Well I've gone and dropped my new vario top box, and not just dropped it, dropped it so it bounced and slide down a rather large set of concrete steps

Does anyone know if you can get a replacement lid, ideally just the allumium bit.

Looking inside there are a number of screws which seem to keep the plastic end covers on, so I'm guessing the alli bit might pop off some how

Yes you can get lids, they are the same as pannier lids.

Dunno how else you'd get one? Unless anyone has a full top box for sale and you could remove the lid?

I bought one last year, main dealer part (with a mates cash, cheers Chris), after lending out my Varios and getting them back with one lid slightly dented and no logical explanation (no accidents, dropping the bike, collisions etc?):

Part number 46 54 7 677 386 (Check with dealer before buying though)


Price £54.05 plus vat = £63.51 Total inc Vat

EDIT: I also thought about the screws, but the new lid comes with replacement hinge pins, it appears you just slide out the old and slide in the new without faffing about undoing screws. (I haven't got round to fitting my new pannier lid yet, gonna do it before I sell my varios so they are all shiny.)
