HI
Iv been running 020's on my 06 1200gs. Im now finding them harder to get hold of.
I called Bridgstone UK to ask about them to be told they were removing them from the
lists in the sizes I use.
Any one any ideas of whats a good close match for the Battlax020's

Thank you

I have 023s on my GSA. Seem to work for me and my kind of riding.

I have used PR4's & Dunlop Roadsmart 3, & they are infinitely better than 020's, IMO.

Love the road smart 3

Love the Roadsmart III, give the bike a very neutral feel, and it seems 10kg lighter as well.

+1 on the Roadsmarts. I found the PR4's a bit too firm on bumpy surfaces. Stiff sidewalls maybe?
Are you using Roadsmart 3 John??

Rang looking for a price on Pirelli Angel GT and the dealer is looking to push me towards the Dunlops.............. are they good?

Yes, found them very stable. Liked them when doing the Pyrenees in September.
Think the PR4's were slightly more flickable but found them tiresome on less than smooth roads. And you know what Irish roads are like!

Has anyone tried Conti Road Attack Evo 2. Tyre Leader has some good prices in GS sizes. The old RA was fantastic to about 75% then it all went south. Tread life was poor and handling went really bad when it squared off. Have they sorted the new EVOs?

Never had any luck with any of the Conti's be it bike or car. The bike tyres always seemed to go tits up realy quickly after a period of being semi useable.

On both my 1200R & my RT. Very pleased with them, & no problems towards the end of their life, but my current favourite is still the Dunlop RS3.

Ive been happy with Conti tyres, from the old Conti-Force though RA to the TKC-70. However, the RA was used on the Divvie 900 which was a booger for squaring off its tyres. That tyre did not suit that bike. The GS generally does a better job of using the shoulders.

I expect to be doing a lot of long distance stuff so I'll check out the Road Smarts.

I've ended up the Conti Trail Attack 2 Evo. Just over £200 the pair from TyreLeader. One rider commented that Roads Smarts took too long to warm up in cold weather so decided to go with the brand I've usually been happy with.

The TKC-70's were great in summer and on loose pea gravel. Not so great now its getting colder but to be fair that are now well sha**ed.
