Hi

Hopefully a simple question! I have ordered a NippyNorman part to replace the flapper and the reviewers suggest that the bolts will need replacing. Could anyone please let me know the size?

Thanks.

Re used mine several times with no issues. They clean up easily enough. Plenty of WD40 on the bolts before you loosen and you should be fine

Soak the bolts over night and give a wire brush before undoing. If it tightens as you undo then tighten the bolt again and spray/wire brush as there will be debris in the threads.

Never force a stainless screw/bolt if it feels like the threads are going tight. It's a sign of the metal picking up and self welding. When that happens the threads strip out and the bolt goes around for ever but wont screw in or out. When you put them back use plenty of good quality anti-seize grease/paste.
