Can someone please clarify if these will replace the two pressurised connectors , for some reason they state not for GSA. I don't plan on changing the unpressurised balance pipe under the tank BTW.

I'm pretty sure I need 8mm fixings and 5/16" does equate to pretty much 8mm.
Or is there anywhere in UK to get same parts?
Thanks in advance,

They do a set for the GSA

http://www.beemerboneyard.com/cpcqkdiscon6p.html as the man says. That set is complete and has everything you need - including the crossover so no need for the 2nd bit

I bought one a few years ago and they delivered to my hotel on holiday:)

Definitely worth the cash. I turned up at work a few years ago and could smell fuel. Just checked the lines and one of the plastic connectors just snapped and started pissing fuel out all over me. I had to quickly whip the tank off and leave it upside down in the car park. Luckily I work about 15 miles from SPC (as it was then) and they had one there. Got a mate to take me to get it, fixed it and rode home. How lucky was that:)

Beemer Boneyard is a great retailer. I ordered over the phone and he said I would need the second piece. If that's not true I'll be returning it and will be happy to save the extra money though...

The second bit is certainly worth buying for an 1150 ADV - the metal QDs are larger than the originals and fishing them through the available gap is a pain in the arse. The second 90 deg set allows you to disconnect the crossover pipe completely and leave it on the bike when you remove the tank.

If you had done a search you might well have found this topic has been done to death on his site.
.
I did do a search but did not find anything specifically about the adventure model.that is why I was asking for clarification. Thanks for confirming what I need to order.

Good to know. Thanks/mark

The BMW male Q/D part has been metal for a few years. Available at your local dealers.
