Replacing shocks etc.

I'm going to replace the shocks on my 2001 R1150GS.

I'm also thinking about replacing all of the bolts/nuts/bushes as well.

Is this good practice, or overkill?
 
Wilbers, German shocks, good price well made, not sure about bolts, or bushes, bushes on the shocks, is bolts wore out? If not why replacing?

Why replacing? Cos by now I bet they're shite if they're OEM!

Wilbers are brilliant. If you do go for these be aware that the spacers that come with them trap grit against the bearing. My solution is to chamfer the spacer and extend the anti-spray flap.
