Hi, I've just replaced the remus y piece and end can with the original cat and a stubby and noticed that the engine 'hunts' at about 3500 rpm. I haven't had the bike long and didn't ride it much before the refit so I'm not sure if it did it with the remus stuff. Is there anything that might have been done to run without the cat that needs undoing? Also the left hand throttle body 'ticks' But I think this is normal? Cheers in advance for any replies.

ticking fuel injectors is probably what you are hearing, both sides should do it though,
ref the pipe, there is a sensor on the cat to connect up, also in fuse box, is there a coded plug fitted ??

Make sure that the valve gaps and end float are set by someone who knows how to properly set them and then get the carbs balanced.

You should do some reading up about "cat code plugs" so you know how to tweak the fuelling depending on whether or not you're running a cat.
