Reprom ?

Its the online manual for the G650X. I believe that this is what BMW technicians use as their bible on how to do stuff on specific BMW bikes when they need to, err, do stuff. Like rebuild engines, change clutch cable etc.

BMW sell the reprom for all bikes.

But buggered if I'm going to buy it, as BMW are in the business of selling bikes not software, and have paid enough for the bike as it is.

I think BMW turn a blind eye to RepRom copying.

Download it and take a look. Its very useful. I have one for the R1200GS as well (and G450X not that you'd want that one).

Mike.
Would you share a link to the G450x reprom manual?

I fear I may have missed the boat as a latecomer G650X owner. When I download the reprom as suggested above, I'm told it was a trial version that has expired. Can anyone help? I certainly need all the assistance I can get on the spannering front:confused:

Thanks,
Steve

Eventually gave up in the early hours but will continue this evening. My computer skills match my spannering - bleedin' hopeless. I think it was the thing-a-me-jig on the computer that reads reproms that had expired, rather than the reprom itself. Thanks for your interest. I'll let you know how I get on.

Hello Bighair,

Thanks for your interest, if your question was directed to me. Some of the chaps sent what they had but, according to a friend who knows something about such things (unlike me), none of them are as good/helpful as they could be (for the F650 etc.). I didn't however get round to following Nobu's recommended link on the subject. Have you managed to got hold of a version with all the bells and whistles? If so, I would be very interested.

Thanks,
Steve

Thanks Tony. Despite downloading 'IsoBuster' and the like, and burning onto disk, I can't open the downloads (I've used both of the links posted) or play the disks. I forewarn you that it may well be something very simple that I'm not doing, but if you have the patience, your help will be greatly appreciated. Steve.
