Respray...(Makeover?)

Whats the piece that sits on the beak and under the instruments Mike?

Does it cover the area under the instruments?

If it does where did it come from?

I'm all questions today :)

Another bit from those nice chaps at Boxer-Design. If I remember correctly, I ordered mine through Motorworks.

Mike:)

Nope definitely U.N. Mike,

Why even the cylinder heads have little light blue berets on.

I'm thinking about getting the seats re-covered. Contemplating doing them in red, so I borrowed Wakey's std GS red seats to see what it'd look like...

...what do you think?

I would leave it on untill this snowy weather has cleared otherwise you might not be able to find it untill spring.:D

At the risk of offending you Mike, I'd stick with the black seat as the red one looks too "tarty" and IMHO would detract from the good work done.

Incidentally, what type of seat is the black one as SWMBO has expressed an interest in one? Is it comfortable? And crucially, how much?

Mike O,

Is that your Morgan Plus 8 you are restoring??? Looks like a mid 70's to me!!!

Been there several time, one plus 8, race car after a particularly spectacular crash, and one 1950 4/4 4seater, that had been in bits for 30 odd years.

If you need any spares, I have some bumpers, new shocks, tublar exhaust manifolds and masses more in the stables if you require anything.

ANDREW

Bike looks good, keep the red seat.

Certainly not offended :P - still not sure myself.

The seat is a Bill Mayer - best in the business - do a search and you'll find loads of discussion (Spanish Bob recently had one built for his Adv and swears by it). Best recommendation I can give is that (apart from deciding what colour I want it covered in ;)) I never have to think about the seat...
