Muppet:

I'm also considering a colour change on my 1150 (currently silver would like yellow) so unless someone out there hates their yellow bike and would do a straight swap...

Is your price for beak, tank and tail?
Does this include you doing everything or would I need to take the existing paint off?

'Fraid the price I quoted Nadeem is for his 1200 tank cover and beak. On an 1100/1150 to respray the beak, tank and tailpiece would be £275 plus VAT.

You don't need to do any preparation, I do all that, but the old paint doesn't need to come off at all provided there's no flaking anywhere.

can you match the BMW yellow?

and how long would you need the bits for?

Yup!:D

About a week if there's no repairs to be done - 5 working days plus a weekend for the lacquer to fully harden.

Spotted this today,It belongs to a mate,it was a Black Adventure ;)
Paintwork by a local company (Nr Cardiff)called Ren & Ink(07970 037097)

Muppet,

I have a black 98 1100 GS with a 6" scrape (and dent) to the right hand side of the tank. How much would you charge to put the dent right, respray the tank and put the decals back on. Do you laquer over the decals?

Jim
