I like my Dainese D-Stormer jacket, but one thing bothers me about it - the flap cover over the front zip bellows out slightly between the first (top-most) and second press-studs.

When the waterproof liner is out this allows a draught in at that spot. Lovely in hot conditions, not so good on cooler days. I suspect that in rain (fortunately I haven't yet ridden much in any serious rain since buying the jacket), the bellowing of the flap will encourage water to get past. The waterproof liner (when fitted) will obviously prevent anything inside that getting wet, but the inside of the outer shell of the jacket - including pocket contents - could be at risk.

So I'm thinking of fitting an extra press-stud in that spot to prevent or reduce the bellowing. These look simple enough (and cheap) - anyone done similar? Did the job last?

Interesting - the Velcro on the cuffs of my Rev-it summer jacket has lost it's stickiness and nothing I've tried has made it better. I was thinking of press studs

The same press stud kit that you linked to is also Ebay but postage free

I've used a similar kit on a Hein Gericke Jacket where the belt around the waist was too large, literally a 10 minute job to add four extra poppers and sort it out
