I recently bagged some Altberg microlite all weather hoggs after lusting them for a couple of years... Unfortunately I didn't get on with them.
Roll on a couple of weeks after selling them and I found the Streetfighter II
I liked the style but at the price surely they can't be any good... well glad to say they are brilliant. Just had the weekend at the Farmyard party and as they were my only footwear they really did take some hammer given the weather.
Riding bike, comfortable, fit nicely under gear leaver.
Walking, did a couple of miles walk to village plus walking round rally site.
Waterproof, spent all weekend tramping through mud yet feet stayed dry.
Just ordered another pair for when these eventually wear out, they really are that good. They are everything I had hoped I would find in the Altberg's and at a fraction of the cost.
