Revised extended warranty

I rang BM today to say that I was not going for the £495 warranty but will take them up on the Euro emergency cover at £130.
They said that they have very recently reduced the cost and you can now pay monthly by DD, and do it all on-line.

The warranty people said to log in with my surname and the pin no. is the frame number from the BMW letter about extending warranty.

The quote was £310 (£130 of that is emergency cover), £100 exess. This can be payed monthly.

At first I believe the cost was around £600 and pay up-front.

Same here, this morning their system was down, this afternoon I paid £360 for it instead of the £495 originally quoted. Not cheap but it's a good saving. I considered the excess idea but went for the full hog in the end. For me the breakdown cover was only an extra £30 odd though Oh well, done now

Yep, I've posted a couple on that on, I thought I would make a new thread, cos that ones kinda lost its way, good old discussion though!, and I thought that it was important to post the latest costs
