RGM Croston Preston

RGM

I was looking for someone to service my GS when I got it early last year and Roy was recommended to me. I've been told he used to work for BMW in Southport and now he's set up on his own. He is a top bloke and very professional. He doesn't mind you watching him work (just try not to get in the way) and he was willing to give me maintenance/spares tips prior to my Morocco trip last year.

He's not the closest garage to me (Preston) but I'm happy to use him for all my servicing.

For those who don't know he'll be set up for MOTs on site in a few weeks time too.

Thanks for that mines due its first MOT in May,i was very happy with his service and price last yea,r will be back for mot and service in may :thumb

He`s excellent, it`s a 250mile round trip for me and worth it :D He`s fixing my gearbox at the moment

No problems top bloke and 1/2 price of well known service area within spitting distance

I always take my 1150 along to him before I go to the TT. Watching him set the valve clearanes & balance the TB's gives me the confidence to really give it the berries... :thumb

Good chap. If travelling is a problem he'll collect or the station is walking distance.

Took the bike to RGM this morning; a check-over and some nice 10w50 oil and all is well with the world.

Very impressed with the service and the oodles of good advice. Coffee was terrible though :augie

I'll be getting the bike looked after by Roy from now on :thumb2

In again today for a sparkly new battery and some wiring work for accessories.

The hot chocolate wasn't bad, but I was disappointed by the lack of brown sugar in little sachets. I will contimue to take the GS to Roy until I am satisfied with the libations.

Oh, and very nice to bump into Ian (night trunker on here) and his 89,000 mile 1150GS. Nice to meet you mate :thumb2
