:D Roy pulled me up for slagging off the coffee, so I thought I'd start as I meant to go on.

I didn't see the cafe; is that weird fishing people. or weird fishy people??
 
Croston, Lancs on the road between Chorley and Southport (Bretherton Toll Bar), just before or over the railway bridge depending on which way you comin or goin! Just look up Croston look for railway and go there! Well signed can't miss.:aidan
 
Top man. I was stuck with my R100GS after total electrics burn out (long Story) Couldn't have been more helpful sorting out niggles and giving advice. He's been on his own now for at least 5 years.

Type RGM into GoogleEarth and select the Croston option (actually the pushpin is misplaced a hundred yards or so but it's the first unit you come to on the left)

I haven't met Jasper.

When I was there the Unwanted Ginger Cat made an appearance.

Roy threw water over UGC, shortly after UGC tried to take refuge in a Pan European.

On the plus side, this exchange took place:

Me: "Is there anything else I should do to the bike?"

RGM: "Yknow what you really need to do?"

Me: "What?"

RGM: "Ride it.."

:thumb Roy gets my vote, Great guy. has Jasper eaten his pink pig ?Been there a few times now and had the bike on his computer.Fishy people are very nice, Graham is the manager of the twin lakes and the breakfast is great if you get the weather to sit out side with the animals.

He got my bike back to me after a catestrophic failure...and opened up on Bank Holiday Monday for me to collect. Thanks Roy...I particularly liked being acosted and threatened by Jasper the minature snauzer...:eek
