Hi, after 20 years off bikes, I'm having to buy all the kit at once, so don't have hundreds to spend on gortex etc.
anyone had the Richa Rix 2 for a while? Any good? Waterproof? Warm?
would appreciate your thoughts.
The deal is I can have a bike again now the kids are nearly teenagers :JB, if I wear a visible jacket (love is compromise!)
any other suggestions?
Thanks
Richard

I haven't, but my mate has got one and thinks it's great. Especially very warm. He has a 3 year old rukka too, but wears the Richa more.

Have ordered the Richa Rix, and await delivery.. Top Gear Superstore are being very slow...
metroplis2k sent a couple of pm's about how brilliant this jacket is, waterproof in a downpour etc.

i have a jacket on order, had the monsoon trousers on for a 160 mile round trip to rotherham on saturday, very cold and very wet but i was warm and dry if the jacket is as good then it should be a decent bit of kit:aidan

Well, the jacket finally arrived,:bounce1 looks and feels great, just need to see how it handles the weather. Armouring throughout is great.
Will order monsoon trousers soon.

Good to hear it finally arrived! I must admit I almost put it on today for walking over to my girlfriend's place. I almost slipped over so many times the armour might have come in handy!

I think you'll soon learn that in this weather make sure you've got all the poppers done up! Otherwise the wind will get through the zips. Button it up all the way to the top and you'll be snug.

I wore it skiing this week in a pretty cold Font Romeu and it was excellent! Only needed a couple of long-sleeved t-shirts underneath and I was at a good temperature.

Skiing, now there's an idea! I'm off to switzerland next week.

Fab jacket and got Richa Monsoon trousers to go with it. Warm as toast in the 0 degree temperatures down here! :Motomartin
