Riddlesden -> Ilkley - is this passable?

I live in the next village up from Ilkley (Burley) and yes that road is easily done. Walked it a few times, never ridden it - think this might be a good excuse to get some fish and chips in, go for some light off roading and sit on top of the moors and scoff!!

I'll be interested to hear how you fare going uphill over those kerbs

My advice to loaded GSAs would be from Riddlesden to Ilkley and not the other way round ;)

... belated thanks to POG and Kate!

... bit late posting ... but thanks again for taking a look at the route. We did it soon after the original request!

At the start we we're looking at the road ... a bit worried until a youf on a 50cc scooter came up on the way to Riddlesden

My 1150GSA at the back .... my mate was a bit worried but soon got the idea that he has a GS ... and they go on when the tarmac stops :)

Stopping of on the road .. all seemed well from Riddlesden .... only the last downhill section into Ilkley had the concrete challenges ... but done slowly and carefully ... no real problems!

... and looking back towards Riddlesden and the 2 pylons in the background.

... and then on for tea and cake at Betty's (well we are tourists :augie)

Thanks again ... a nice little short cut ... on the way from the peak district up to the Lake District.
