RiDE Guide to Europe

If anyone's having trouble with the online ordering, please email the office and we will pass the complaint on to the people who should have fulfilled the orders. It's all done out of house, so we can only complain the same as you would - but obviously as we're the client it's more like we're shouting at them down a speaking tube, rather than shouting at a window with a closed sign swinging in it. It's a royal pain when our hard work and brand value gets pissed away by other people not delivering on our promises, so we do take it seriously. The email to use is ride at ride dot co dot uk - if you have an order number, please include it and that should speed things up. But all complaints will gets passed on straight away.

Just to set the record straight !...I ALWAYS try to support my local shops BUT I don't count Sainsbury's, Tesco, W H Smith, Morrissons' as one of them, BUT I did try unsuccessfully to buy in all these before placing an order on-line....Never thought of trying W H Smiths in Wales....Silly me

North Yorkshire is nearer to you . Ask JB to get you one and you could meet up

We've actually only had a few mails, so hopefully this is a minor glitch not an epidemic of incompetence. They've all been passed on to the (slightly scary) lady who is in charge of dealing with the supplier who's meant to post them out and she's cracking the whip. You should get them quickly now chaps, but do come back to us if they don't pitch up.

The fella forwarding them to the shouty lady upstairs was just forwarding them, not letting people know they'd arrived... I've had a word. It should all be sorted fast now.

I have just sent an email, the phone call i made last week produced promise of despatch by last friday at the "very latest"........this is one of those "the cheque is in the post" moments I guess....

Still nothing here, it was suposed to be in the post last Tuesday lol

Got mine today - sent out Royal Mail 48 hr delivery - probably following the e-mail I sent to Ride following the post from Simon W, so thanks for that.

Is this worth getting if you already subscribe to Ride and have all the magazines going back years? Don't want to waste my money if I already have all the info!

Can you confirm if you want this copy. No problem if not as can give to a mate.

Mav, have you gone AWOL, I don't want to have a spare copy, so I'm going to forward to someone else tomorrow if I don't hear back from you.

If you don't mind chap, that would be tremendous!

Mav, I'm forwarding it to another member that's struggling to get a copy. If you do want a copy pls confirm and I will go to the stn and check if they have any left.

Well, if you have all the copies of the supplements over the past few years then you have all those stories. We did it because we keep getting requests for back issues of them, which we can't supply as they're all long gone: this was a way to let people get this stuff if they'd missed it first time around. Still, it's a pretty-looking thing printed on nice paper and is probably makes an easier reference tool than hunting for all the different supplements when you want to find a route... But to be honest, if you have the stuff already no it's not worth giving my paymasters another sick squid!

Thanks for the honest reply! I will try and get a look at a copy and decide from there.

Cheers:beerjug:
