Bottom of page 7 in this month's RiDE magazine there is a picture of a nice grey F800GS, showing what they look like with Givi E21 panniers on.:thumb2

and your mate's street triple..

Both bikes my mrs is thinking of as her first big bike

ladies bikes?

Well, my mate loves and adores his Street Tart. He went to it from a 1050 Sprint, and loves it much more. And he's faster on it too! (Though I still caught him on the twisties on my 800GS despite giving him a head start)

And of course I think my GS is tops!

Both of us moved down from litre bikes last year, but neither of us had considered that we were on ladies bikes! :kissy2

Well, if you look at page 8.
Thats me and the wife at Reims...:thumb2

How about scanning them in and posting up!

Funny you should say that Dave78 as I test rode the Street Triple and an F650GS today (both for the second time).

Stree Triple first and yes everything they say about it is true - motor to die for!!!!!! However ....... no hard luggage possible and no decent front screen either. Great for occasional use in good weather, but in rain???

Then 650GS - hard luggage tick! Big screen available - tick. And - it was great fun too (not as fast as the ST3 obviously) but plenty of go in the real world. In fact, considering I rode it after the ST3 and was expecting it to be a bit of a damp squib - I was pleasantly surprised. know where my money is going, just need to decide new or used.

I stopped at the little campsite in Kinlochleven twice last year, eaten alive both times by the midges despite lashings of skin so soft, I like the road but not the wildlife. looks like you had reasonable weather.

We went September last year and mid May the previous year.
Has the bonus of being out of midge season and school holiday season.
