Ride Motorcycle Tours, Moto-Piston Rally off

We booked to go with Ride Motorcycle Tours on their trip to the Moto Piston, had a letter Friday to say their trip has been called off as 6 people had canceled. We have been trying to book ferry's on the net and by phone but the return is fully booked really disappointed. Have been preping my R80 for months, booked to take part in the rally, now our holiday is off, we certainly wont be booking with Ride again. Strange thing is the trip is still on their web site http://ridemotorcycletours.com/MOTOPISTONRALLY.aspx .

Because as I put in the original post the return ferry is fully booked .

We're out on 6/10 and back on 16/10 Portsmouth to Santander and same back

Only booked it 2 weeks ago......................going 'on the hoof' with some other UKGSERs

No need to worry about travel firms 'pulling the rug' that way

Unfortunately Mrs bubbles has to be back at work on Thursday we were travelling back on Mon 11th, and would not be too keen on crossing France on our 32 year old R80/7 after the comfort of the K12 .

Already tried that, email back from Pete to say they are full.

Pastyman brings some good luck.

This afternoon Pastyman was out for a ride and called in to see us, while we were sat around the kitchen table talking of important matters , mrs bubbles got on the laptop , and managed to book the ferry tickets out Wed 6th, return Mon 11th ....... so looks like we are going after all .
