Anyone who's interested :D

Ride out from junction 5 M20 and across to Walmer them up North towards Reculver and along to Whitstable.

The route is tried and tested - rode it (again) this morning. I used it in 2008 when we included a look around Walmer Castle. Lots of primroses and some lambs to see today so in a months time it wil be blue bells and lots more lambs!

Some sections through narrow lanes but this route is more free running that the last one.:thumb

Plan is 09.00 start at Maidstone.

11.00ish Walmer for coffee break

12.00 ish on to Whitstable

13.15ish at Whitstable for some lunch and a walk about

Make our own way home from there

Quite a short route - just over 80 mile and another 30 to complete the loop back to Maidstone.

Riding in a group using the drop off system.

Volunteer required for tail end Charlie please

Tail end Charlie reporting for duty, SIR :D

I will have to pass on this as I have used up too many brownie points within a short space of time (Ride of Respect, Easter charity ride and Kent camp ride out).

Hope you all have a great day.

Us two (too!)

Hi Woodsie,

Jen and I would like to join you on this one so count us in please!

Remember - I have a bladder capacity of about 2 hours!

Cheers,
Andy

09.00 start at Maidstone.

11.00ish Walmer for coffee break

Times between Maidstone and Walmer should just about make adequate allowance for your old age:D

As it happens when we get to the coast at Walmer there is a khazi directly opposite where we arrive:thumb.

12.00 ish on to Whitstable

13.15ish at Whitstable for some lunch and a walk about

That should be OK as well - as long as you don't have too much coffee or just have a glass of water before the second leg.

Responsibility for the journey home is down to you.

You could buy a Touratech potty for your one of panniers in case of emergency:augie:augie
