Just though I would share a couple of pics (from my Mobile) of Me and Short001. Not the best pics in the world but at least you can see who your chatting too

Shorty is the one with Black Bike :thumb Guess what? I am the one with the better looking SE :P

We rode approx 300km non stop (apart from a quick lag) on some good winding roads and a bit of autobahn thrown in. A bit cold but hey, first time i seen the sun out in weeks....

Maybe some pics of your days out to add to this thread?? Would be good.

I have spoken to him a few times on the phone. He is the GTO or works with the Tpt Dept. Didn't know he had a GS, I will ask him next time I talk to him on the phone.
I take it you are an ex TROG from 1 ADTR then?

TROG......I'm offended, we were the best drivers in the Army :) :) Yep was there when it was 2 ADTR, then got rid of the Signals and changed to 1 ADTR, 1982-1986. Then went to train the SAS to ride bikes, that was fun :D
Bill is one hell of a rider 10/11 times Army Motorcycle Champion, B40, Can Am, Armstrong MT500 and the Harley Davidson MT350. Plus many ISDT/ISDE and the Scottish Six Days Trial, which is my forte. Rode together in the Army team and I will be competing in my 24th SSDT this year.

What bunch of delinquents were you with if any :beerjug:

As far as I know he still has his Black 1150Gs, uses it for work as he comutes from Bunde, maybe only a fair weather rider, me personally Silver 1150GS Adventure......Proper bike

RAOC

Was in the RAOC, yes the 'blanket stackers' before you say it.
Now in the RLC after we all united in '93.
Just 3 years 10 months and 16 days to push, until I get my life back (but who's counting)
Been in Gutersloh since 2001, and about to start a 3 year posting next month, where - sunny Gutersloh of course!
At least the beer is cheap :beerjug: we get everything tax free :thumb , and still get an extra £600 a month LOA (living overseas allowance) :D
As I said Scooby, I will give Bill a call.
