Hope Everybody made it back home safely and enjoyed the run out. Look out for the Uncle Ricky ride out 2, which will be the reversal of the the Uncle Ricky ride out 1.

If anyone see's the sheep in their travels that decided to run out in front of me causing me to lock up both front and rear wheels tell her to look both ways next time before crossing the road

Thanks for a great route, I had fun trying to trust my tires in the wet!! Glad you missed Dolly!

Thanks for the run Ricky. One thing we should be thankful for is the fantastic roads in the Exmoor area. The first thing I did when i got back was order one of those Accelerator things Yonkyo was raving about all day.

According to my Zumo track log, Gordano, Rick's ride and back to Taunton 147 miles:

Three bikes re set their average mpg to zero at Gordano
147 miles later:
2007 R1200GSA, spotlights on,heated grips on,heated jacket, 42mpg
Two faster riders:
2009 R1200GS 42mpg , ridden with assertion
2009 Yonkyo's R1200GSA, Akropovic, HID's withAccelerator Module and everyone on the ride
will confirm this, ridden with equal assertion: 48mpg !!!!

So is it really true that richer fuelling gives better mpg

Don't mention hot food to Peejay . Sorry about the pace, if it was a bit too quick for some people, but at least you will know what to expect at the next one. Apart from that I hope you all thought it was worth the trip down/up/across to Taunton for the ride out. Thanks ILMV for bring up the rear Happy Xmas to you all

I also have a Fuel mod on my bike to make it richer and can confirm that MPG is better, and I have down geared mine with a smaller front sprocket with one tooth less, and Yonkyo was pushing on that is the reason why some times I had to push on to stay in front

Aha, I had a feeling your bike was tuned in some way. Goes like stink don’t it
