Great vid!! Let me get this right, you were on knobblies, you were pressing on a bit at times , they must be good!

Cheers, I couldn’t quite believe how good those tyres were in those wet leafy roads.
I don’t think I could have pushed much harder on more road based rubber.

Wot camera and how mounted? I failed to look

The camera was an Olympus mju 1030 sw. Waterproof to -10m, shock proof and crush proof. The video is not HD, but its ok for YouTube clips, and takes good 10mp stills.

I’ll post a picture of the mounting I cobbled together if you’re interested.


Shame we didn’t get much opportunity to talk much pish at Aber, as it was only a quick coffee stop.

Its a doddle, do it quite often on a Sunday, down to Lynmouth and back via Dulverton.

Just to put everyone in the picture the run will be about 110 miles.

Including going up Porlock hill

When we get to Lynmouth their will be an opportunity to stuff your faces with food and hot drinks in a cafe in the coach park were you can eat in or out .

Could I have an idea of who is coming, so that I am not waiting ages at the start point for someone who is not going to come.


I intend to leave at 10.45.

Muzvmc, cycles it in the summer on his push bike , if you can't ride that in a few hours on the motorbike then something is seriously wrong with the way you ride
