Ride tracking vis BMW Connected App

Are there any dedicated threads on this site that are about the Connected App and their problems/connectivity or (lack thereof)...?

Only this one.

Have yiu tried:

a. Deleting and reinstalling the app?

b. A different phone.

One or both worked for others in the thread.

Did this ever get resolved. I have exactly the same issue with an android phone. Worked perfectly on 3 year old GS, new bike last summer and it worked fine, bike been garaged for 6 months due to health issues which are now sorted, but the connected app won’t work. Deleted and reinstalled half a dozen times, phone restarted half a dozen times, starts to record but stops quickly.

The datatrack app is working fine.

One caveat, it’s a works phone and there are some data restrictions that I don’t have any control of, but that would stop the datatrack working…..wouldn’t it?

Have you tried opening the App on your phone and then leaving it on in the background?
That seems to work for me consistently even though it should work without doing that if the App is set to be visable `always` in settings.
If the white speed limit box is not on the TFT it`s a sign the App isn`t recording (even though the phones battery level and signal strength icons may be lit..
 
Somebody said something about having the phone in a left trouser pocket, rather than a right jacket pocket. I could imagine it might make a difference, but I have to say it sounds like bolleaux.

Or you could try standing on one leg & clucking like a chicken 😂
