Rideout to Shotley & Tiptree Saturday 31st July

Myself and a few guys from work are having a ride out to Shotley & Tiptree on Saturday 31st July 2010.

If anyone fancies tagging along we are going to meet at the Silver Ball Cafe on the A10 between Buntingford and Royston.

Start the day with a breakfast and we are going to leave the Cafe at 08.30.

We will be taking the scenic route to Shotley and Tiptree. Why not join us and have a Cream Tea at Wilkin & Sons Jam Factory.

Would be good to see a few GS's there.

Those of us who are attending this ride out. Weather forecast is heavy rain over friday night,and cloudy all day saturday.

So to sum it up, gremlins washed off bike, wet arse to start off with,and a cream tea to wash it all away at the end.although you may still be damp..Hee, Hee

For those of us that took the plunge, and stood the rain, it was a great ride out, although one of us had a puncture, the shotly bit was stopped due to a pre arrangement meet with members partners and cupid freind,which to me was a waste.

It would have been better to have continued to the pub, rather than to a Jam factory, for an expensive cup of tea,and with a bunch of old ladys.

But the ride home, was better, faster and in the dry..... Hope you all returned home safe, and hope to ride with all again soon unless its to the Jam factory.
