Hi there.
Yes a few things in my diary. Bakermans on the 'Plain on 27th Dec,
Hampshire lanes on 8th Jan plus I am sure something else will come up.
Plus I need a jaunt to South Wales to return a GS tank seat unit, thinking of going on GS1150 and doing a day of trails down there.

F650GS on road tyres.. Not sure if the bike would be any good offroad on road tyres but a few gravel /light trails might be fun.Even though I've never done a proper one before....
hmmmm yes, tricky I thought you meant a trail ride, sorry.
Even on road tyres the local trials are a hoot in the summer - but largely a b*astard in the Winter on a road biased bike, even with Knobblies.
If you want a destination for a road ride you could try Bakermans on 27th for the bacon sarnie at the start. Details somewhere on here, will try and find a link....
