I've got a 2010GSA - The manual states that when the heated grips are on there should be a heated grip icon displayed in the bottom right of the RID screen. (even though warm hands should be enough of a reminder that they are on). However, the icon does not show on my bike.I mentioned it to the dealer at point of service and was told that the manual is wrong and that the 2010 models do not show / have the heated grip icon. Is he having me over or is he correct.? cheers

There's no icon on my (2010) dash board.

Guess its pretty unnecessary as its obvious when its on, as you say.

Who knows? But as we all hear of those 'they all do that sir' incidents I just thought that I would check it out with fellow owners.
The only time I have bothered to fully RTFM in 30 years of biking the manual proves to be the complete antithesis in relation to the bikes display unit showing the heated grip icon
