I'm picking up a new (to me) 1200 GSA 90th on Monday, since it's been a few years since I've ridden I thought it might be a good idea to brush up my riding skills and get someone to check I'm doing my life-savers and positioning ok. Does anyone know the best way to organise this - through a bike school or maybe IAM group? In my mind I could do with someone following me around for an hour or so, giving me some pointers/refresher in my ear over the intercom.

I'm planning on getting involved in the Wey Valley AM group at some point - but could do with some immediate refresher training even if it's informal.

Come along to WVAM at Ripley Village Hall on Sunday, 7th December, 09:30. Excellent training, excellent bacon butties, and the Observers are generally pretty cool!

We go out for about 1 1/2 hours and stop every now and then to discuss how we've been doing. Prepare by revising all the rules, read the Highway Code - good cure for insomnia. If you can get a copy of "Roadcraft" the police Riders Handbook, that is valuable.

See wvam.org.uk

Hope to see you there!
