Hi,

I've searched on the forum and can't find that this has been asked. Does anyone know where I can download a PDF version of the Rider's manual for a 2016 R1200GS TE Triple Black? I've tried the BMW website which isn't useful, and even contacted BMW UK direct who say that one isn't available. Just doing online searches have turned up PDF manuals for Adventure models of the same year and 2013 years for my model. Can anyone help? If not, I'll scan mine in over several days but don't really want to have that hassle.

Thanks for any help,

ARH.

Hi paul08, thanks for that. Yes, I've been to that page before. It says "Select your model on the right" but there are no models to select from which I pointed out in my message to BMW UK (tried three different browsers and the page renders the same in each) . Looks like I'm stuck! I thought in this age of smart devices, a downloadable PDF would be readily available!

Hi Mike, thanks for that, I did find it via an internet search but didn't find the thread on here. That looks as close as I'm going to get I think, although I don't have the Adventure model. Thanks for replying.

Edit - should've searched that site first - looks like I've found it now.

Andy B - yes, that's it
gerardwatts - if the link isn't for the correct manual, I'll be in touch!

Thanks all for the replies. It begs the question though that why BMW UK say a PDF version isn't available.

Also - when I first made this post Fat Biker 66's was the last reply. I come back to update this post and there are two other replies from yesterday!

Did you find the Triple Black TE Manual arealhuman?

If you have please can I have the link to it?
No, just the TE version from the links above - see AndyB's post. It's the same as the hard copy I was given with the bike.

There is no specific owners manual for the Triple Black, it's just a different paint finish with spoked wheels, so the TE manual is issued when new.

There is no 'TE manual' either, you get either an R1200GS manual or an R1200GS Adventure manual, all features are covered in the manuals whether or not they are fitted to your bike.

Indeed, you are right.
